Livingston County CARES, Inc.
Livingston County CARES is inviting students and community members to apply for three life-changing service trips scheduled for March 14-20, 2027, offering opportunities to make a meaningful difference while serving communities in Florida, Mississippi, and Puerto Rico. Applications opened September 1, 2026, and are due October 1, 2026.
Since our founding in 2005
Service Trips
We have sponsored and managed 103 service trips with 1,603 volunteers in Mississippi, Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico, New York City and New Jersey.
Fundraising
We initiate fundraising efforts every year to provide humanitarian and financial assistance after major natural disasters.
Education
We provide opportunities for volunteers to learn about relief and recovery efforts related to natural disasters. Our volunteers participate in educational sessions with an option for academic credit.
Volunteering
We engage volunteers in service opportunities with local partner organizations that do not require travel outside of Livingston County.
