Livingston County CARES Community Improvement Grants

Since 2005, Livingston County Cares has assisted communities and individuals locally, regionally, nationwide, and globally in humanitarian projects. In an effort to advance work that specifically benefits the residents of Livingston County, New York, the organization is pleased to launch CARES Community Improvement Grants. This program is intended to provide financial assistance to individuals or groups working to support humanitarian causes in Livingston County.

Since our founding in 2005

Service Trips

We have sponsored and managed 94 service trips with 1,540 volunteers in Mississippi, Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico, New York City and New Jersey.

Fundraising

We initiate fundraising efforts every year to provide humanitarian and financial assistance after major natural disasters.

Education

We provide opportunities for volunteers to learn about relief and recovery efforts related to natural disasters. Our volunteers participate in educational sessions with an option for academic credit.

Volunteering

We engage volunteers in service opportunities with local partner organizations that do not require travel outside of Livingston County.
